Over the past twenty years, unscrupulous computer users have continued to use the computer to commit crimes; this has greatly fascinated people and evoked a mixed feeling of admiration and fear. This phenomenon has seen sophisticated and unprecedented increase recently and has called for quick response in providing laws that would protect the cyber space and its users. The level of sophistication has gone high to the point of using the system to commit murder and other havoc. The first recorded cyber murder committed in the United States seven years ago according to the Indian Express, January, 2002 “has to do with an underworld don in hospital to undergo a minor surgery. His rival goon hired a computer expert who altered his prescriptions through hacking the hospital’s computer system. He was administered the altered prescription by an innocent nurse, this resulted in the death of the patient”.........

THE BUILDING OF COMPUTER NETWORK IN INDONESIA

ABSTRACT
Seven years experience in building a packet radio Wide Area Network (WAN) in Indonesia will be described. Some basic ideas are coming from CIDA funded CoSy project in Indonesia 1987-1988. Ways to strengthen the strategic elements, namely, people, knowledge and hardware/software resources, are explained. An alternative low cost packet radio technology is presented. This approach enables the Indonesian universities and government research institutions to engineer and to build a self-financing and sustainable packet radio WAN needed to transfer of information, knowledge and science required to sustain the technological and social development in Indonesia.

1. Perbedaan resolusi. Biasanya foto yang difoto secara profesional memiliki resolusi 255 ppi, sedangkan yang diambil dengan kamera digital biasa (non-pro) adalah 72 ppi. Bila dua foto (yang diambil dengan menggunakan alat yang berbeda kualitasnya) digabung menjadi satu, kemudian di save ke 72 ppi (dengan jpg format internet), lalu dikonversikan kembali ke 255 ppi dengan Photoshop dan di-zoom sebesar-besarnya, maka perbedaan pixelnya akan terlihat.
